close to Legoland. Each reach via Billund Center
We ordered twin room. The bed is too short. The breakfast is also a bit simple
The quietness, few people.
I would have loved some orange juice for breakfast.
Nice room and a very polite and helpfull staff. Good breakfast buffet too
The way to the room (nr. 22) was a bit hard to find though and I think that 50,- for wireless internet is way too expensive. Also the juice mix at the breakfast was way to watery
The dining room and breakfast buffet were nice. I appreciated the sliding doors on the shower stall (rather than just a shower curtain). The schedule for the shuttle bus to Legoland was posted in the lobby.
I wish there were an elevator so that we didn't have to carry all of our luggage up to the second floor. Since we were 3 adults staying in a double room, a cot was added, it was not so comfortable.
To be honest nothing was particularly worth commenting on. Breakfast was ok - but we had to ask for everything to be replenished both mornings.
Didn't like the fact that there were some capped off bathtaps about two inches above one of the beds in the family room we had! It had obviously been a bathroom at some time. We therefore had to re-arrange the furniture accordingly. The room was fitted out extremely cheaply - thin duvets, thin pillows, thin curtains. This room was expensive - four very small, narrow beds which worked out nearly £300 for two nights - bed and breakfast. A family room should consist of one double bed and two singles. Not four singles
Central, served by shuttle bus. Expected a nice, danish "kro standard" as we do not like the sleek A4-standard of Legoland Village machine or the big hotels. The food and menu were fine, well tasting.
Webpages picts a nice familyroom in the old kro. Reality was a too small room in the new building, too small for 2 childen and 1 adult. Night tables banged the head of the person sleeping in the extra bed - impossible solution!! No extra towel for the extra bed, bathroom not cleaned, tooth glasses dirty with tooth paste, wall above sink dirty (old tooth paste). Reported the towel and the tooth glasses in the reception, they promised to do something but did nothing. Ignorance? Billund Kro were out of tickets for Legoland, they expected new via post/mail. This caused us 30minutes extra waiting to buy at the entrance.
The dinner menu at the restaurent
Friendly staff, nice and comfortable room, though a bit old-fashioned, but I should say it was the most beautiful building I've seen in Billund.
We came to Billund for Legoland, and looking at the map I thought the hotel was a bit closer to Legoland. But in fact we had to walk a bit more than a kilometer, as there's no any local transport, and we didn't have a car. But it's not about hotel itself, and in fact we enjoyed the walk, just if you have the same reason to go there, you'd better know this.
The double room is little bit smaller.
Good quality for price. Clean room. Friendly staff. Silent place just next to town ceņter.
It was close to our point of interest
The room was not meant for occupancy of 3, extra bed was very uncomfortable, Coffee vending machine did not work.
We had a family room with 4 beds, that was nice. The staff was very friendly when I made the reservation. Walking distance from Legoland.
The restaurant in the hotel was absolutely awful.
Convenient for Legoland. Very pleasnt staff, good breakfast.
They charge additional fee if you are paying with foreign credit cards(I.E. Non danish credit cards), it was 4.75% for amex and 3,5% for visa. I found this odd since that is not mentioned or informed beforehand when booking it.
Staff. they went out of their way to get things for us that the hotel did not have.
No double beds. rooms very small. main bar was minimally stocked although owner went out and purchased what we needed. food was over salty. not a lot of choice on menu. no hot food on breakfast buffet. ran out of breakfast english tea on breakfast buffet. ordered stuffed chicken from menu.. it came with a strong tomato sauce which should have been served seperately. the chicken was not stuffed with anything and when we asked the owner what it was stuffed with he said chicken! I did not eat it, but the hotel still charged us for it!
